How Yalla Tabakh started

Eman is a Japanese Egyptian, born and raised mostly in Japan.

As someone of Arab descent, she has always been deeply connected to her roots, understanding the beauty, values, and warmth of the culture. Living in Japan, a country that I equally cherish, I often saw an opportunity to bridge these two worlds.

Also, she understands although Japanese cuisine is renowned worldwide, there are challenges many Muslim travelers face when trying to find Japanese dishes that align with halal principles. Through this class, She aims to introduce travelers to genuine Japanese flavors and dishes, all tailored to be Muslim-friendly. It's a chance to savor Japan without compromise.

Tokyo is a city of wonders, where tradition meets modernity at every corner. Through our cooking class, you get to taste a slice of Japan that's both authentic and intimate. Amidst the towering skyscrapers and bustling streets, our kitchen offers a peaceful retreat where travelers can immerse themselves in an experience that's as unique as Tokyo itself.

This cooking class is not just about food – it's about weaving the intricate threads of two distinct cultures into a beautiful tapestry of shared experiences.

We are excited to have you, and hope you’ll enjoy the class!
